Cash on Delivery (COD)

A complete toolkit for stores that sell cash on delivery — a one-page Quick Order Form, one-click order confirmation to cut returns, and built-in fraud protection.

Quick Order Form

The Quick Order Form replaces the standard multi-step checkout with a single page embedded on any product page through the Shopify app proxy. It is designed for COD shoppers who expect to order in seconds.

  • Smart address lookup — city and district selection that speeds up entry and reduces wrong addresses.
  • Multiple payment methods — offer cash on delivery alongside any other method you enable.
  • Custom order prefix — tag form orders with your own prefix for easy identification.
  • Downsell popup — present a last-moment offer when a shopper tries to leave.
  • Owner notifications — get an email the moment a new order comes in.

Adding the form to a product page

  1. Open the Quick Order Form section in the SnapBundles dashboard.
  2. Configure fields, payment methods, and your order prefix.
  3. Enable the Quick Order Form block in your theme editor on the product template.
  4. Save — the form appears on your product pages instantly.

COD Order Confirmation

Cash-on-delivery stores lose money to return-to-origin (RTO) when customers refuse delivery. SnapBundles sends a confirmation email that lets the customer verify the order with a single tap.

  • One-click Confirm or Cancel — the customer settles the order before it ships.
  • Opt-in — confirmation emails are off by default; you turn them on when you are ready.
  • No Shopify order tagging — confirmation status lives in the SnapBundles panel, so no extra order-write permissions or customer re-consent are required.

Confirmed and cancelled orders are visible in the dashboard so you can prioritise shipping the orders most likely to be accepted.

Fraud Protection

Fake and duplicate COD orders waste shipping budget. SnapBundles screens every Quick Order Form submission before it becomes an order.

ControlWhat it does
IP rate limitingCaps how many orders can be placed from one IP in a window.
Phone order capsLimits repeated orders from the same phone number.
Device fingerprintingDetects repeat submissions from the same device.

Every blocked attempt is logged with a reason code, so you can review fraud events and adjust your rules from the dashboard.
